Prof. Dimitrios Goulis
Professor Dimitrios G. Goulis received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Having a scholarship from the European Union, he worked (1996 – 2000) as a clinical research fellow at St. Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College, London, UK, acquiring the specialty of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Since 2019 is a full professor in Reproductive Endocrinology, at the Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He is currently or had been: Vice-President and President-Elect, European Menopause and Andropause Society (2019 – 2021); Treasurer, International Society of Andrology (2020 – 2025); Secretary General, European Academy of Andrology (2014 – 2018).
He has published more than 300 full papers in peer-review international journals. His main research interests are male and female reproductive endocrinology, endocrine and metabolic complications of pregnancy, menopausal transition, Evidence-Based Medicine and research methodology.
