Dr. Julia Bosdou graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with grade “excellent” in 2009. She received her MSc in Medical Research Methodology in 2011 and, subsequently, her PhD with “excellent with distinction” grade in Human Reproduction from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2016. Dr Bosdou is an Obstetrician & Gynecologist specialist since December 2018 and is currently a sub-specialist trainee and a post-doctoral researcher in Reproductive Medicine at the Unit for Human Reproduction, at the 1st University Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in Thessaloniki, Greece. Her field of interest is infertility, reproductive endocrinology and research methodology. She has also been an elected Junior Deputy member of the Special Interest Group (SIG) Reproductive Endocrinology of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) (2017-2019).

Dr. Angelica Lindén Hirschberg is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. She is Head of the Women´s Health Research Unit and a Consultant Gynecologist in charge of Gynecological Endocrinology at the Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. Her research is focused on interaction between sex steroids and metabolism of importance for female reproduction, sports and health. Professor Hirschberg is a fellow of the Endocrine Society, board member of The International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE) and the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS), the official gynecologist of the Swedish Olympic Teams, medical advisor to World Athletics (IAAF) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Professor Dimitrios G. Goulis received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Having a scholarship from the European Union, he worked (1996 - 2000) as a clinical research fellow at St. Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College, London, UK, acquiring the specialty of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Since 2019 is a full professor in Reproductive Endocrinology, at the Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is currently or had been: Vice-President and President-Elect, European Menopause and Andropause Society (2019 - 2021); Treasurer, International Society of Andrology (2020 - 2025); Secretary General, European Academy of Andrology (2014 - 2018). He has published more than 300 full papers in peer-review international journals. His main research interests are male and female reproductive endocrinology, endocrine and metabolic complications of pregnancy, menopausal transition, Evidence-Based Medicine and research methodology.

Dr. Herman Tournaye is full professor and chairman of the department of Gynecology-Fertility in the university hospital of The Dutch-speaking Brussels Free University (Vrije Universiteit Brussel - VUB). After his training as a gynecologist in 1991, he joined the Centre for Reproductive Medicine Brussels where he became clinical and scientific director in 2011. Apart from reproductive medicine, he has a special interest in reproductive andrology. In 2000 he started the research group BITE (biology of the testis) at the VUB focussing on the reproductive potential of testicular stem cells. He has authored over 400 peer-reviewed papers, including >50 as a first and >80 as a last author (WoS h-index of 60). At the medical faculty he teaches developmental biology/embryology and reproductive medicine. He is coordinator of the international training centres of the European Board and College for Obs and Gyne and the European Academy for Andrology, both associated to his university hospital.

Professor Ludwig Kiesel is chairman of the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the University of Muenster, Germany. He studied medicine in Heidelberg,Germany and in London, UK followed by a research fellowship at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland,USA. He is the president of German Society of Gynaecological Endocrinology and Fertility Disorders, the past president of the German Menopause Society as well as of the German Endometriosis Research Foundation (SEF). He is board member of EMAS. He has been involved in national and international guidelines on menopause, contraception, endometriosis and endometrial cancer. His research interests focus on hormonal treatment in menopause and endometriosis as well as the mechanisms of cell proliferation and invasion in the pathogenesis of endometriosis. He has performed trials in the fields of endometriosis, oncology, menopause and endocrinology. The main aspect of his clinical work is endoscopic surgery in benign and malignant diseases.

Professor Margaret Rees has an international reputation of leadership in women's midlife health and is the Executive Director of the European Menopause and Andropause Society. A gynaecologist, she is Editor in Chief of Case Reports in Women’s Health and Emeritus Editor of Maturitas. Her expertise has been recognized nationally and internationally, by appointments to a Readership in Reproductive Medicine at Oxford University; and visiting Professorships at Glasgow University and at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden and the University of Turku in Finland, and an Adjunct Associate Professorship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Jersey. In 2020 she received the Women's Health Institute's Woman of Distinction Award from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
