    Sweden

    Dr. Angelica Lindén Hirschberg is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. She is Head of the Women´s Health Research Unit and a Consultant Gynecologist in charge of Gynecological Endocrinology at the Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. Her research is focused on interaction between sex steroids and metabolism of importance for female reproduction, sports and health. Professor Hirschberg is a fellow of the Endocrine Society, board member of The International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE) and the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS), the official gynecologist of the Swedish Olympic Teams, medical advisor to World Athletics (IAAF) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

    Dr Lambrinoudaki is Professor of Endocrinology in the 2nd Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medical School, University of Athens, Greece. She has been responsible for educational, clinical and research activities in her Department since 2000. She has authored 242 publications (May 2021) in peer-reviewed international journals, mainly on gynecological endocrinology, menopause, hormone therapy and osteoporosis. She is President of the Hellenic Society of Climacterium and Menopause, Past President of the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS, 2015-2017), Scientific Director of EMAS (2017-today) and Editor in Chief of the journal MATURITAS, official journal of EMAS.
